Largest truck joins Schofields fleet

A milestone moment was marked at its Foxash premises for Schofield Removals with the delivery of a brand new removal truck – the largest ever to join the company’s fleet.

The vehicle’s arrival follows a year-long journey from the initial decision to build through to final delivery, with the truck constructed from the ground up by SBR Specialist Coachbuilders in Preston.

For the first time, the new truck also carries a family tribute: the name ‘Robert James’ is displayed across the top of the cab, celebrating the founder’s son. It reflects a proud generational story, from a horse and cart driven by the founder to a modern flagship vehicle now ready for the next chapter. Established in 1919, Schofield Removals says it is going strong into 2026 and beyond.
